Very true! Time never has healed any of my wounds, only lessened the pain. The best way to avoid deep wounds is to try to let go of the emotion before it settles too much in ones thoughts. If you let go of the frustration immediately, release and not dwell, the pain pathway in your mind is stopped. I'm still learning on how to let go but I've come a long way and feel a lot less pain even in everyday life by not letting my thoughts and emotions control me. I must learn to master them and allow myself to feel only what I want to feel as best I can.
